Tom DeGise Speaks at Walk to Remember Police Benefit Event

Hudson County Executive Tom DeGise was honored to be a featured speaker at the Jersey City Police Detective's Benevolent Association's "Walk to Remember" benefit event recently. Tom spoke about the tragic loss of officers both nationally and locally, specifically the death of Jersey City Police Officer Melvin Santiago, in a heartfelt speech that is available below. The "Walk to Remember" event was attended by over 400 police officers and supporters and was intended to raise money to support the families of fallen officers. It was held on January 17th amid frigid temperatures in Liberty State Park.
